About Me

About me? I would much rather talk about YOU, but here's some background. I am based in Amarillo, Texas, educated at Texas Tech in mass communications, with career experience in advertising, public relations, sales, marketing, and mortgage lending...all of which have fueled and sharpened my passion for coaching.

A success coach encompasses a combination of many skills. Here's what I am not...

• I am not a MENTOR - that is someone who tells you how THEY did it. I will help you think beyond stereotypical answers.
• I am not a MOTIVATOR - that is someone who dangles a carrot before you. I will help you discover your own lasting motivation and define your own success.
• I am not only a TRAINER - that is someone who tells you HOW to do it. I will help you master that knowledge.
• I am not your THERAPIST - that is someone who tells you WHY you've always done it this way. I will show you what is right about you, and help you develop you strengths.

After years in advertising and public relations, I realized the most rewarding part of my career was getting to play a part in the realization of my client's dreams and goals. Time after time, a client would remark how a brainstorming session with me would help them see things more clearly. Now, after translating all I've learned through coaching, although I was always a 'top producer', I see how much I could have profited from a coach. I would have gone farther, faster, made less mistakes and made more money! And so, I offer these shortcuts to you.

A passion for business, a gift for listening and strategizing have made coaching a fascinating journey for me. And although there are commonalities throughout the world of business, I am energized by the challenges of different industries. I have worked with clients in real estate, ministry, insurance, lending, and communications.

I enjoy very much the sensation of 'looking through your eyes' and helping you see new ways of doing things.
